Decent Mower, Bad Customer Service, Not Very "Hi-Vac".
I have bought many items from CPO and have not had any issues until I purchased this mower. Everything was good until I tried to start it. It took 25-30 pulls to start it when it was cold. After I did get it started, it would crank on the first pull but I had to keep the throttle in the choke position for it to run properly. I called CPO and explained my issues and they forwarded me to their "Snapper" expert. She was absolutely NO help at all. She had no idea what to do about the issues so she told me to take it (a brand new mower) to an authorized Snapper dealer for repairs. She gave me the names of two dealers in my area. I called both and neither one was an authorized Snapper warranty repair dealer. Feeling frustrated, I consulted Google and found a solution, adjust the throttle. I never in my wildest dreams thought I would have to adjust a brand new mower but after the adjustment, it starts first pull each time. Now about the mower: Its heavy and awkward. The drive control will take some getting used to. It cuts pretty good and appears to be built pretty well. I actually bought it for the "Hi-Vac" feature but that is a major disappointment. My old Honda mower sucked up the leaves and grass better that this mower does. Just be aware that when you order a "commercial" mower like this one its not ready to run right out of the box. It came with no oil, only a little package of fuel stabilizer. It required quite a bit more assembly than the residential mowers I have purchased in the past. It also does not come with any way to mulch unless you buy an additional blade and chute plug. This mower, as advertised, is designed for bagging not mulching. All in all I would not purchase this mower again. I would probably opt for the non-commercial version or another Honda. Its was an expensive lesson to learn but at least it was on sale and I finally got it running properly.

Not Durable
Nothing but problems
I bought this mower in March and have only mowed 7 times with it. It has been to the repair shop now 3 times. It would take 5-10 minutes of pulling to start the mower, it would eventually start but not after lots of cussing.

I noticed the choke wasn't working and emailed Tyler Tools which of course since I used it, I had to contact Snapper. Snapper of course said that since it's a Honda motor I'll have to contact Honda.

Finally get it to a "certified" repair place only for the guy to tell me it's a plugged carburetor and not under warranty b/c I put gas in the machine. Also the choke being bad. How do you know if your machine doesn't work w/o putting gas in it?

For the record, I only have used premium fresh gas and oil levels are great.

The next issue is the bag falling apart at the handles b/c the fabric isn't strong enough to hold a full bag of grass.

I specifically bought this machine to replace my 25+ year old snapper. I've only used Snappers since I've been old enough to mow. I even used them commercially for 4 years. I figured if I purchased the commercial version I'd be getting a superior product to last me 20+ years.

I've lost all faith in this brand. It sucks getting the run around to get things fixed. The mower hasn't worked properly since day one. I would have been better off buying a cheap mower from a big box store.
