Sucks almost like a Hoover (not quite as much as J. Edgar tho) ;}
Solid little vac plenty of suck and blow for most smallish, day to day, needs. Will empty out most toilets and picks up everything but nails. Does a fine job of cleaning lint out of condenser coils, belly buttons, and commercial dryers..
The case is well built and solid with a good gasket. Has enough weight for bopping recalcitrant FNGs.
Tool and hose storage is exceptionally well designed for the tools it comes with. (Crevice and 6" wide head)
The filter is decent though not HEPA. My only wish would be for a HEPA filter and a good bag set up as there are things you need to vacuum up that you DON'T want to be touching afterwards. This is a great small projects vac and with the crevice nozzle on it does a decent job of blowing the dust out of your hair before you bail to beer:30.

With the 4 Amp hour battery there's plenty of run time.. Get the 4 Amp hour battery... Or 2 if you're planning on heavy use

Nice, but--
Good for small cleanups. It's nice that it's cordless, but you will still need the big vacuum for big jobs.

Love this thing. Only 4 stars do too the intake line could be a slit bigger to help in some areas. I use mine everyday multiple times a day installing Doors , windows and other side jobs. Over all I’d buy another if I needed it.

Very portable and easy to use
Great lightweight vacuum, very portable. Has good initial power on full battery. Changing batteries for longer jobs is done quickly and easily as with all Porter Cable cordless tools. Appears to be rugged. The filter is excellent.

Can you use this as a blower?
Jerry G on Oct 21, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes, but not a very strong one. I use mine everyday doing installs of Doors and Windows, it makes my life so much easier. I use the double battery pack and get a long use out of it.
Are batteries included?
A shopper on Jun 26, 2018
BEST ANSWER: No. I use the standard 20v Porter-Cable battery from my other tools.
