Speaker quit working.
Worked for a while, then would not pair to phone. Red lights come on for a few seconds, connects to phone on occasion for a few seconds, then drops off line.

Tough and just right for the job!
I have had one for some time now 5 years I think. It has been left out side in the rain for a week (ruined a battery but not the speaker I use it on the job and sound level is great (it's not gonna blow you away). If and when it dies you can guarantee I will replace it with the same. Battery life is great too. Great product!

Worked for a while
Bought this Speaker last year, worked great for about 3 months. Sounded decent when it worked, not that loud but was enough for smaller rooms. One day it just turned off then wouldnt turn back on for 15 minutes. It did this for a few weeks then just stopped working completely. Contacted Milwaukee and instructed to take it to a repair center. Never got around to that and lost my proof of purchase so couldn't be helped. I've bought many M18/M12 products and the tools are great but radios seem like they need some work.

Good Sound Quality, No Handle
This is my first experience with "BLUETOOTH", but I was able to connect the speaker to my stereo system with no problems. The sound quality is great. The range is much better than I had expected (at least 75 feet) and battery life is good. The only problem is that there is no handle to carry the speaker around with. About the only way to pick it up is by grabbing the battery at the back of the unit. Funny that Milwaukee would not include some sort of handle. Go figure.

Bought this speaker new yesterday and it worked great all day long. No problem connecting via Bluetooth to my phone. Today I turned it on and it is connected to my phone but not putting out any sound. All the volume controls are at the highest level. Cannot determine what might cause this problem! Might have to return it, I cannot find any info online about how to resolve this problem. Anyone with help if most thoughtful!

BEST ANSWER: Ok, several steps to take (former electronics company service manager):
1) Plug a known source into the Aux jack, and see if the speaker produces sound.
2) This speaker can pair to only one Bluetooth source at a time. It’s possible that it paired with something else. Un-pair; re-pair.
3) Try another Bluetooth device. Can you pair that device to the speaker?
4) Remove the battery, count to 100, replace the battery.
If these steps don’t work, call Milwaukee tech support. You might have to wait for a few minutes, but they’re fantastic to work with. They can help you decide if you need to return for repair/replacement — plus I may have missed something.
One final thought. I had to go through a dozen of these speakers to find one where the pushbuttons are accessible behind the rubber seals. It’s as if the circuit board on which the pushbuttons are mounted is too far away from the rubber membrane. I talked to Milwaukee tech support about this. They verified it was a manufacturing problem, it had been fixed in production, but there were units in the supply chain that still were borderline defective. It’s possible to only think you’ve pushed the buttons. Make sure you’re getting contact. If the buttons aren’t quite right, there’s no remedy other than replacement.
Hope this helps. /aw
What's the speaker's wattage?
Milwaukee master on Jul 10, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The short answer is we don’t know, because Milwaukee doesn’t tell us in their literature. You could try calling their tech support line, but I wouldn’t get my hopes up.
Here’s what I suggest: Buy the speaker from a retailer to whom you can return it. See how it works for you. That’s the best gauge of power out in a device this small.
If you’re asking about wattage, you may know something about THD — total harmonic distortion. You’d want that number, too. When you crank up a small speaker driven by an equally small amplifier, you can overdrive both to the point where it’s hard to hear anything, and what you do hear is terrible — distorted or clipped.
Pay attention to the instructions. You can set the speaker volume to Max (as indicated by a limit beep) and then control the actual listening volume from the source — such as your iPhone.
I’ve been impressed by the sound volume and sound quality of the little speaker, but I don’t use it in a large area or a high noise environment. It works equally well in my 1200 sq ft shop and on a shelf above my 30 sq ft shower (where it gets a little steam and overspray, but not drenched).
Hope that helps.
can I sinc the wireless speaker to my jobsite radio by Milwaukee?
Steve on Jun 25, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Steve,I use my speaker to sync with my ipad and my android phone. If your Jobsite radio broadcasts bluetooth, this should link nicely.I hope it does as this is a nice speaker for the job.Mike
Can you set up two of these be synced to listen to the same music at the time in two different areas?
Brian on Jun 6, 2015
BEST ANSWER: If you have a device that will connect to two things via bluetooth at the same time then sure, but the speakers will not connect to each other
