Milwaukee 2553-20 M12 FUEL 1/4 in. Hex Impact Driver (Tool Only)

Details
The M12 FUEL 1/4 in. Hex Impact Driver once again raises the bar for 12V performance with best in class driving speed, power, and size. By focusing on productivity, this Impact Driver gets the job done faster by being over 20% faster in application speed vs. the competition. This tool outputs over 1,300 in. lbs. of torque that allows the user to get more work done by completing a wide range of fastening. Measuring only 5.1 in. in length allows for unmatched access in tight spaces. The POWERSTATE Brushless Motor delivers up to 0-3,300 RPM with constant power output to drive screws faster. REDLINK PLUS Intelligence is the most advanced electronic system on the market, preventing damage to the tool and battery caused by overloading or overheating. For use with M12 REDLITHIUM Compact Batteries or Extended Capacity Batteries (sold separately), which deliver more work per charge and more work over the life of the pack than competitive batteries on the market. The 4-Mode DRIVE CONTROL provides greater control over output speed and power for greater versatility by delivering 0-1,300 RPM in Mode 1, 0-2,400 RPM in Mode 2 and 0-3,300 RPM in Mode 3. Mode 4 is Self-Tapping Screw Mode which is designed to reduce walking when starting self-tapping screws as well as reduce overdriving, breaking and stripping out screws.

My favorite tool.
I’m well invested in the M12 and M18 lineups. However this 1/4” impact driver is my overall favorite. Sure the the brushless table saw and sds max tools are amazing for cordless tools. But this little impact has the most amazing power to weight ratio. It smokes a few competitors 18 volt tools yet it fits in a tool pouch or is almost unnoticeable clipped on your pocket. You have to run one for a day and you’ll realize you need it. My M18 ONE-KEY™ only comes out for the heavy work now. This little guy fights outside it’s weight class.

This driver is so compact an comfortable to use, but don’t let its small size fool you. It is on steroids. I can use it to fasten big bolts on tractor even. An it can’t be beat for knocking mower blades off. Plus I’ve used it to hang doors was able to drive 3.5 in screws one handed over my head with very little strain. If you’ve ever tried that then you know what I’m talking about old days lots of stripped heads an had to stand on ladder so I could put all my weight behind old style driver. That’s why I grab this tool so often. I have it’s brother in 1/2 in driver drill. I can say I’ve only used it once to drill a hole. This gun is my go too now period.

This little impact handles just about all of my needs with ease, I rarely have to pull out my 18v. It is small and lightweight, which makes it nice to have to carry around on my tool belt. Can't say enough good about it

I still give it 5 stars, and I use it so much that I burn through batteries but it’s an M12 if they made it bigger it would be a M18.!
I had my eye on this tool for a while and it was everything that I had expected and more.
