FASTEST CORDLESS TIRE INFLATOR. The Milwaukee M12 Compact Inflator delivers fast, accurate, easy inflation with the portability to take anywhere. With the capability to complete demanding applications like car, light truck and compact equipment tires, the M12 Compact Inflator gives users ultimate power and efficiency. Rated to deliver over 120PSI, The high efficiency motor and pump top-off car tires in under 1 minute. The TrueFill Auto shut-off technology delivers highly accurate pressure, protects from overfill, and automatically senses speed of fill to deliver precise shut-off at the desired PSI. Additionally, the unit includes a large easy to read back-lit LCD, anti-vibration feet, and 26 in. hose with an all brass Schrader chuck.
Just purchased this to have while traveling. Had an opportunity to use it to inflate tire on a car we use infrequently. TPMS said tire was low. Connected the compressor showed the current pressure was 19 psi. Set the target pressure at 35 psi and hit the inflate button. In less than 2 minutes the tire was at 35 psi and pump stopped automatically. Was happy to see there is also a presta valve adapter included. The secure threaded connection to the stem is awesome too. No need to hold a leaky air chuck against the valve stem. Tempted to buy another one for my other vehicle.
I bought one was so happy with it bought a second. This is small compact inflator perfect for when I come out end of the day to a flat tire. Easily fills my truck tire. Is this a compressor ...NO. Is it meant to fill your 12 ply 35 or larger 100 psi tire. No it is not. For that I have a compressor
If your looking for a simple to use tire inflator you can put an m12 in and leave it in your truck or family mini van to help get to the tire store in an emergency this is it.
Looking to air up after a day of rock crawling or inflate the flat 5 ton tire not the right tool.
Great inflator. I have been using 12V outlet inflators for years since the cordless inflators have all been underwhelming. I decided to give this a try after reading all the great reviews. I purchased the holiday bundle which comes with a 2.0 Amp 12V Battery as well as a travel charger for $110. Charging the battery to full does take a while, but maybe thats because the charger was a travel charger. The construction of the unit is great and top notch as your would expect from Milwaukee. The inflator is fairly loud but thats expected. I actually really like the screw on tire nozzle as opposed to the clip on version. I was able to "top off" my car tire from 22 PSI to 33 PSI in about 90 seconds with a full charged battery. Though it may not be as strong as the 12V outlet inflators, the convenience of the small size and no cords are well worth it. Though I have not tried the Dewalt inflator which is also supposed to be great, though more expensive.
My son bought me this for my birthday. A great idea, very impressed with it. It's so easy to use, very light and keeps my tires filled up as one of them has a very small leak. I keep it in the car at all times. A nice Christmas gift for someone. I recommend this highly.
I have three cars and have used this compact inflator many times.I have topped off 4 tires in 5 minutes. No more extension cords or trips to the gas station.Set the desired tire pressure press the button DONE...It doesn’t get easier than that.
This product works good if you are only topping off tires. I used it to inflate a trailer spare that only had 15 PSI in it & using ta fully charged, extended 4A battery, managed to get it to 45 PSI before the battery died. It would be nice if it had a 12 volt adapter instead of having to keep a 2-3 fully charged batteries to use it. Works really well for ATV & lawn mower tires, not so good for a fully flat tire.
I have purchased and own several small inflators because I have several cars. The most recent purchase is this Milwaukee unit. It is by far the best one I own. Most plug into the cigarette lighter in the car. Those units don’t work nearly as well as the Milwaukee! Also, the other units take a lot longer to get a tire up to recommended tire inflation. I love the fact that the Milwaukee has its own battery and will “top off” several tires before it needs a charge. This is not as good as a garage air compressor. But will suffice in most instances where you need addition air without handling a power cord or driving a car to the unit. So, it will handle most small jobs with ease!
Solid portable air compressor, decent volume flow. Have used to inflate large boat fenders, bike tires, motorcycle tires, sports equipment/balls, everyday items. I have the M12 XC 6.0 battery that runs the compressor very well. (Side Note: The M12 3/8 ratchet is fantastic
A) The ability to disconnect the air hose from the body of the compressor would be suggested. The air hose cannot be removed without disassembling the compressor body it appears.
B) The 'accessory connections' tool storage is an open air 'snap' in for the 3 plastic connections that come with the compressor. These plastic connector threads easily gall or strip. I ordered brass replacements, however, the 'storage' should be a 'box' of sorts that has a lid to close instead of an open face snap in, so that more than 3 connectors can be stored of various sizes securely.
I think it's a good value and the m12 battery fits many tools. The only thing I felt mislead about was the inflation time takes longer then advertised. I did give 1 to my girlfriend in hops she quits driving around on flat tires.
I love this little inflator. It works perfect. It has some noise to it. But not real loud. Nothing to make you uncomfortable. I use it all the time for bike tires, car tires, snow thrower tires and other jobs. Don’t have to hassle my large compressor any more. My favorite feature is you set the pressure you want and it shuts off at that pressure. Keep in mind, this is not meant to blow up completely empty tires, even though it could. This is meant to top off your tires, keep everything else up to par and do all the little jobs you used to have to haul the big compressor out for. This is well worth the $70 I paid for it. Battery life has been pretty good, and I use the bigger battery. If you purchase this you will not regret it. I have many M 12 tools. And they’re all top-notch. As a homeowner you cannot go wrong with the M 12 line
15 degrees outside, and I topped off 10 tires on our Jeep Wrangler and Expedition. The two spare tires has 15 pounds each, and the other 8 tires were at 29 pounds. I filled each tire up to 35 pounds, and still had 1 bar left. I plan to get another compressor so that each vehicle is equipped... Thanks Milwaukee, another tool for my collection
Not having to haul out the air line or the air tank is great. You can take this little guy wherever you need it and it works quickly and is surprisingly accurate. Fits easily in tight areas. I use the higher capacity battery which gives a longer run time if I'm adjusting tires on several vehicles. Can't say enough good.
The Milwaukee inflator works as advertised to inflate tires. My only issue (and it is not a big deal is that the screen shows 1.0 PSI when it is not attached. I don't know if there is a way to calibrate it so that it shows 0 PSI.
