Makita does it again
I bought this compressor because I am tired of burning up the dewalt compressors, this compressor has small tanks with a larger motor so it’s not working so hard to keep up with the Roofing gun. Other compressors got a small motor and big tank and it ends up burning up. I also run this with the 10 gallon reserve tank from hitachi

Makita compressor. One of the best on the market in my opinion.
This is got to be one of the best compressors I've ever purchased. I like the quietness of the compressor. And I can do a hell of a lot more work. I don't have to wait for it to build up pressure after my first six or seven nails. The design and the look of it is awesome. I love this compressor.

I am a general contractor and use this portable air supply for all my air tools.
Also, I use one of these to take on my RV trips, for tire inflation and tow truck air bag inflation.

can this run a framing gun
hmmm on Nov 5, 2012
BEST ANSWER: Yes, most definitely, hardware utilized for compressor will have no problem being operational for this component. In other words, it is a dual operation compressor-run all tools. Check the specs for each tool via manufacturer for pressure settings.
I am wondering if this is good for mobile auto detailing for blowing air constantly for about 5 minutes without having to wait for compressor to keep filling back up if it keeps running no problem as long as air flow is still the same??
Deniel V on Jun 24, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I think this would depend on the size of the opening on your hand nozzle and the pressure you want to use. I have an off the shelf hand nozzle that I use for blowing out filters and removing sanding dust prior to finishing. It would't keep up with constant blowing the way I'm using it.
