I was reading the details on this blade and I'm trying to make sure I understand the blade materials. My take on this is, it's a Bi-metal planar blade. The majority of the material is a HSS material and the 2-cutting edges are a Carbide material, and they are fused to the HSS. Similar to an EB Welded hacksaw or bandsaw blade. If this is wrong, could you please explain the blades correct materials fabrication?
