What do you want DURABILITY/PRICE???
Have 2 of these. 1 2.5 years old, 1 .5 years old. Just replaced the last one with my Porter Cable that I have had for 11 years. We rebuilt it twice and leaking air again. Great Tool but higher priced and heavier.

A good framer for the price
So far so good. Powerful and easy to use. I was a little disappointed that it didn't have a depth adjuster.

Be forewarned, reconditioned can jam like new guns
I like this gun, but it jammed (driver blade jam, not just a nail jam) within 500 nails shot. Yes, new guns can jam too, but I was surprised that a Hitachi jammed so soon. I hope this gun is not a "lemon" being reconditioned already. Will update if further problems occur. For now, the gun is working again (after $24 at the local Hitachi service center to unjam and check the gun). I was going to sell my old nail gun...now, I'm keeping it as back up just in case (it may be old an heavy, but it doesn't jam).

OPEN BOX VERSUS RECONDITIONED DIFFERENCES?
A shopper on Feb 11, 2019
BEST ANSWER: When you see an item marked as "open-box," it means just that: the package has been opened. It's likely been returned for some reason, but not necessarily because it's damaged. Refurbished items are damaged goods that have been repaired to return them to like-new condition, while open-box items have simply been returned to the store for some reason, then put back on store shelves with an open-box label.
