Love this tool, best drill I've owned
Bought this a while back and loving it. Got enough power and time to use. prior to this i purchased the 12v standard drill and that was also one of my best purchases as well. rugged and durable. I won't give up and of my Dewalt tools

Small but powerful.
This was the last one available from the display shelf. I had to jump the battery to get it to take a charge and it has worked perfectly for over a year. Plenty of power and great for small places. I recommend purchasing this for home use and construction to fit in tight areas.

Dewalt 12 V Drill Driver
I bought this drill a couple of years ago and within a month bought a second one. I have one for drilling holes and one for setting screws. They both get a work out every weekend on my woodworking projects and have never given me a problem. I have recommended the product to others and bought one for my two sons and my step son. I have other drills but these are my "go-to" cordless drills. They are light in weight and very well balanced with lots of torque and great battery life.

Quality tool!
I bought this drill over a year ago and I rely on it for most of my drilling jobs in my shop. It has a plenty of power for its size, its battteries recharge quickly and it performs beyond my expectations.

Handy Drill for hardwaring!
My 20V's work great for multiple tasks during construction but there are times when it can be to powerful and a bit to cumbersome. That is were the 12V line up comes in handy. Smaller and lighter weight makes these a go to for hardwaring cabinets and doors. Just HANDY!

light weight
I needed a small drill that would hold up to frequent light weight use. This met the need. You can't drill large holes, but then again, that is why I own the 20 volt DeWalt drill. This is great for the small needs, the battery has a long life and charges quickly.

BEST ANSWER: Please contact DeWalt directly at 800-433-9258 for technical assistance and warranty claims.
I have a DeWalt Lithium ion drill driver #DCD710 Seriel #401538 and I have had it for about 18 mos.
What a terrific drill for my uses! Yesterday when I started to use the drill I noticed that one of the three individual "bit holders" was sticking out the front of the drill about 3/16 of an inch past the other two. I do not know what caused this as the drill wasn't dropped, or anything that would have caused the damage. That point will enter and exit the drill like the others, only it exceeds the other two points by the length previously mentioned. I do not know how to go about repairing it. How do I get it fixed, I'm retired and this drill is special to me, but I cannot afford a replacement.
