Great Design
I have only used this saw to cut rebar, but it did a fine job. I love the carrying handle and the latch to hold it in the closed position.

Awesome Machine!
I bought this a few months ago and works great. Like every chop saw the correct pressure is the key. 90 degree cuts and really smooth. I tried a 45 degree cut and it tweeked the cut off wheel so much that it cut into the base plate (picture attached, could have been operator error. Both cuts were 1.5" square tube .090 thickness. Regardless, I really enjoy using this saw. The keyless blade change is nice and the machine is very easy to move around the jobsite. The base is very sturdy as well.

Looks new to me!
This is a nice step up from the models with torsion springs. It is very smooth and accurate. I upgraded to a thicker cutting wheel so I could do miter cuts since the thin wheel wouldn't stop sliding off the pipe. The quick change is a nice feature as well. I was also glad that it has a blade lock and handle to carry it convieniently.

Disappointing for a DEWALT product
I use chop saws for fabricating in my home workshop. I liked the power and CPO's quick shipping but at the end I'm not real happy with the design. The fence and protractor are difficult for me to work with. Once you get your quick square in there to adjust your angle, then try to adjust the position with just the one lever, you just don't seem to have enough hands. Plus the blade and/or power head doesn't seem to be square with the table and/or slots, so you can't rely on the protractor reading. All this would be OK with a cheap saw, but this is a DEWALT!

This is a fixture in my shop. It cuts well, is dependable, and seems durable. It's a good addition in any shop.

great product as advertised
A little heavy, but easy to use. Slices through the small angle and box steel I typically use but also doesn't have a problem with 3" exhaust pipe with a reasonable fresh blade. I use fresh blades for exhaust pipe and use the used ones for my small angle and box.
