Circular Saws
Circular saws are the universal saw for construction. Solid wood and plywood can be quickly cut to dimension on a job site, and, with the use of an edge guide, finish carpentry projects can be accomplished as well. Models are available in plug in corded and cordless circular saws. Corded tools come in two styles: side winder styles have blades attached directly to the motor shaft, the motor is 90 degrees to the line of cut. Worm drive models have a gear box, the motor is parallel to the line of cut. Worm drive saws have a higher amperage motor to meet the demands of job site work. Side winders weigh less and are available with either left or right mounted blades. Cordless circular saws bring power saw convenience to remote locations.
