Universal Mounting System - For use with all major competitors' saws
Integrated Rubber Wheels - Easily move stand with saw attached from jobsite to jobsite
I'm impressed with everything about this stand- except that the universal mounting system is too short for my miter saw. The bolt positions need to be at least 1.24" further apart to accommodate my saw. The base of the saw still more-or-less sits on the mounts and I was able to zip-tie the front part of the base onto the front of the mounts, it's a little tricky accessing the screw release handles as they are covered by the saw base. Even so, I would highly recommend this stand.
This stand is built like a brick house!!! Very heavy duty.... Built to last awesome!!!
This is my second mitre saw stand (other brand , I was very impressed with how well the parts fit, usually there is always some drilling or modification required to assemble, but not with this unit the parts fit exactly and instructions were easy to follow on assembly. My Bosch dual-bevel GCM12SD fits great on it and is easy to setup for operation. The only issue is the combined weight of the stand and saw requires four men to lift it...(brick house) . But the quick release mount for the saw makes it reasonable to lift. If your looking for heavy duty stand for your saw look no further.
Seemed like a good idea as it does make moving around site easier. However the tyres puncture really easy and they are hard to repair / replace . The biggest failing is the extention arms they sag and there is no leg to support them . The stops are really tinny and roughly made. I cant understand why the GTA3800 has great stops and rollers and this doesnt ?? Had it about 18 months and the paint is flaking off . Has the potential to be brilliant but failed
First off, I like the stand, seems to be heavy duty and very easy to use. I found One design flaw, not a deal breaker and would be very easy to correct. When I centered my saw (DW706 on the rail and folded the stand, the top of the support leg hits the bottom of the tool mount bracket as it pivots. This is due to the support leg being about a 1/4" to long above the cam lock mechanism. Forced me to mount my saw 3/4" off center to provide clearance when folding the stand. Again this is no big deal and is the only reason I didn't give it Five stars.
I love how easy this stand opens and closes. Its very sturdy and it supports material very well. When you stow it in the corner with the saw still attached, it doesn't fall over like traditional miter saw tables.
Can't pop it up with my 780 DeWalt Chop saw attach
First, this is the best miter saw stand I've owned. I had the original hitachi miter saw stand for many years. Switched for the main convenience of leaving my chop saw on the stand. I drops down easily....immediately because of the weight but can't make it past the half way mark as I try to pop it up. Assembled perfectly.
I bought stand with the glide saw 8-9 months age. Nothing but good things to say about it,easy to wheel around, put in bed of pick up truck by myself, small foot print when folded up.Love the extensions left & right, with the brd. stops.
Finally wore out my old chop saw. Searched and hunted for a replacement. Very happy with this Saw and stand. Mostly do crown molding and trim with it. The (not durable) only thing I don't care for is the cheap plastic guard.
The product is very good. The box arrived absolutely destroyed. Looked like it had been shipped, returned, and then shipped to me. There were more than 30 pieces of assembly hardware, (nuts, bolts, etc), in what remained of the box, and not one piece of hardware belonged to the product. Not sure how CPO managed that. Fortunately, Bosch took care of me.
The Bosch gravity rise miter saw stand is really amazing and really well built. Its easy to use and has lots of nice features. My only negative on it is when it is in the stored position the front U shaped bar comes into contact with the floor causing scratching on the coating of the metal. I'm sure over time this will cause the metal to rust and just look bad. I wish they would put a rubber foot or a rubber wrap around this area to prevent the stand from taking a beating. I wrapped mine with some carbon fiber tape to keep it from damage. Overall its a great stand that is easy to move around the job site and setup with minimal effort.
What sold me on this stand is the way the extension arms hold longer material square and at the correct height. I looked at this table for quite awhile before purchasing and it has the features that make it stand apart from other brands. I have had two other collapsible saw stands and was disappointed in the way the extension supports would allow long boards to tilt and/or not keep their height adjustment when moved in and out. Was a little concerned when I discovered the amount of assembly that was necessary, however the instructions were excellent and it took no time. My concerns were diminished. Folding the stand with the saw attached is effortless - no effort compared to others - almost like magic. Love it wish I had bought it sooner.
Well engineered stand for the money. Articulation at its finest. While most of it's adjustments will suit most woodworkers, I found it's not precision and neither are any of the others for that matter. Added Fastcap Best Fence for really solid and precision wings that rest on the outriggers. Now I can make surgical cuts. Still the best I found.
I purchased my first stand 3 years ago and a second one about 18 months ago. These are the best stands on the market. I have used several. My crew can easily set these saws up and move them to wherever they are needed on a job site. After using the stand nearly every day for two years, the plastic parts break the easiest and are the first parts to be replaced. I wish the arm extension locking nobs were made of metal and that these replacement parts were available on line. The arms tend to have more "slop" in them over time. I really appreciate the ease of assembly, set up, and the repetitive cut stops employed in this product.
The T4B was the most heavy duty miter saw stand I could find to examine 1st hand. It's heavy duty in almost all respects. Set up was straightforward as long as you closely follow directions. Otherwise it would be easy to reverse the orientation of some of the pieces. Only issue with mine is that one of the wheels sounds like it's flat when I roll it, but it's a solid rubber tire and rolls OK, so I'm not sure why it makes that flat tire sound. Also, the spec's are somewhat confusing as they claim up to 18' of material support. The extensions don't open to 18', but I guess they consider them strong enough to support that length of material - haven't tried cutting anything that long yet. All if all, very happy with the stand.
This is the greatest miter saw stand ever!mounted right to my Millwaukee slider.very heavy and durable which makes for a stable work place.easy to use, easy to move around.assembly wasn't terrible, but just be patient.wish they had put 12 inch wheels on it,just for getting over obstacles in the yard.could'nt be any happier with my purchase
I bought this model because I had so much good luck with the table saw stand and this ones works just as well. Assembly instructions were well written and easy to follow and best of all it came with a mitersaw.
I just purchased this stand and already love the ease of setup and handling. The only thing I saw in the reviews that people seem not to like is the road rash on the frame when in dolly-ing mode. That is very easily cured by using a piece of 1-1/2" ID pvc split lengthwise by about a 3/4" gap. It's easier to measure the length needed then cut in half and split. It will be easier to saw the 3/4" gap, as well as snap it over the frame. Great protection and only a few minutes to do. I used scrap gray electrical pvc. I tried uploading a photo, but it won't load no matter the size I choose.
Product went together easily, is sturdy, and easy to use but couldn't get my miter saw to mount to the table. The front mounting holes didn't have enough movement to align to the mounting holes for my saw.
i bought this to replace a different one i bought when i bought my saw new, this is a little high in price but it works so much better then the ones with 4 fold down legs, dont get one of them they do not work even close to this one at around the same cost
I spent the extra buck for this. I can see when it latches and unlatches. Great design! Safer for me to use and handle as an old guy, in-frequent user. The other brand of wheeled saw table I have is unsafe to open and close. The Bosch table is built like a tank. Follow the Bosch table assembly instructions and pictures closely. The factory flipped the right side bar. I caught it and put it on correctly.
I've used and throne away a lot of stands, and this one is not on that list. It's been grate for tans portioning in the trailer and to ANC from the houses. It goes over every terrain I've been over with ease. It's set up is quick and easy as well. It's a little heavy but it's worth every penny.
Excellent table for my Bosch Compound Bevel Miter Saw. Assembly instructions were clear and easy to use. Nuts and bolts came in seperate packages that had been seperated according to the assembly instructions' steps. Put it together myself in 45 minutes. Well packed box. Table could be lighter but, it's design is definitely solid. Looking forward to many years of enjoyment.
The cost of this miter saw stand is high, but Bosch delivers with an incredible design. I'm fascinated by the details of its design & precise manufacturing. Here's what a message in the box says "Sorry if there are a few scratches but we put every unit together before we send it to you". Bosch committed to perfection with this unit
Finally,a beacon of hope for Miter saw users.Love, love, love my new stand. It's heavy duty, simple to operate and maneuver.Super fast set-up & breakdown.A cut above the rest! You get what you pay for.Quit wasting time and money with those other "blue" companies and those Jokers in Yellow. The people at Bosch are putting out the best stuff on the market.
Will a craftsman 12" Compound miter Saw Model # 315.212240 fit on the mounting of the T4B. My craftsman has a depth measurement of 12 3/4 inches center to center thats measuring front to back. The width is 21 7/8 center to center of the mounting holes which are 1/2" I. D. opening.
