The Work Sharp Knife and Tool Sharpener is an innovative abrasive belt sharpening system. The combination of flexible premium abrasive belts and precision sharpening guides create the sharpest blades you've ever had with speed, ease and repeatability. The sharpening guides are purpose built for kitchen knives, outdoor knives (hunting knives, pocket knives, filet knives, etc.) as well as scissors and serrated knives. This tool can also be used for many other sharpening tasks such as garden pruners, lawn mower blades, shovels and countless other bladed shop and garden tools. This tool is assembled and quality tested in Ashland, Oregon and has a 1 year warranty. Includes a detailed User's Guide and Instructional DVD.

Enjoyed using the knife sharpener as soon as it arrived. It did a good job on my kitchen and pocket knives, which varried in metal quality. I tried it on some chisels and found it only OK, since the larger blades are wider than the belt on the sharpener. I sharpened a scissor that I was going to throw away because it no longer could cut, but the sharpener made it function again. It has cheap metal but can now cut well. Nice product but cost a bit. I have other sharpening tools but this has been my "goto" tool for sharpening... the others are not used because they are a bit more clumsy.

Sharpened every knife in the house. Works great, belt life is good after sharpening 20+ high carbon knives, I changed the belts which by the way is a snap. I would highly recommend this product. Kitchen, hunting, machete, all sharpened to a hair shaving polished edge.

When sharpening pocket knives it tends to knock the tip of the knife off and takes allot of work to restore the tip.

This is the easiest tool I've ever used. Easy to change guides or to rotate belt to sharpen everything. Belt changes and tracking take about 10 seconds. Everything comes out extra sharp.
