get what you pay for
built a table. did what it was supposed to do, but the trigger stayed on and had to return it.
The CPO customer service is really the best I have worked with on line.
I would only recommend this to a friend if they were just recreational furniture builders or carpenters. (and don't take it to seriously)

Bought as a gift
Bought as a gift and he immediately took it out to his wrokshop and used it to plane down some pallet boards he had ripped apart to make a potting shed. He told me it did an excellent job and was very happy with it

BEST ANSWER: The overall length of the shoe is 11". The cut depth is 0-5/16".
How many cutting blades is this planer equipped with? Are the blades reversible with multiple cutting edges? What size is the chip discharge port? Can the chip bag be removed and substituted with a hose adapter for use with a shop vac?

New Vs. Reconditioned

What's the difference between New and Factory-Reconditioned?

Factory-Reconditioned products have been returned to the manufacturer and are restored to like-new operating condition; they go through a rigorous testing and inspection process. Plus, they offer a significant savings vs. new.
  • Reconditioned products may have minor cosmetic blemishes or scratches that do not affect item performance.
  • Reconditioned products may not come with all of the consumables the new version comes with (bits, sanding pads/papers, cases, etc.).
  • Both come with a manufacturer warranty and are covered by our Money Back Guarantee; New is 30 days, Reconditioned is 60 days.
