i have the Rockwell RK7033 all set up and working, but i am having a tough time figuring out how to adjust the speed. It is currently set on the 3100 RPM setting but the motor won't move so that the belt can be removed. There is a spring that is fully compressed on pin that is attached to the motor mount. If this spring wasn't there, it probably would have enough play to move the motor. Any suggestions?

Does the Rockwell 5-speed 10 in. Drill Press have the same components and similar design as the SKIL
10 in. Drill press ?

I'm curious because the SKIL is reviewed by users as having plastic drive pulleys for the belt.
For the extra money I would like all metal drive components for the pulley system.

BEST ANSWER: Unfortunately, we are unable to confirm if the eternal components are plastic. For more information, please call Rockwell directly at 866-955-4175
