battery power at its best
nice tool, but constantly recharging the batteries
makes for slow progress in getting the job done.
i suppose it is poss. that i got some batteries that are not up to par and thats the problem. also the power scissors that fit the electric version of this tool do not fit the cordless tool.seems to a quality tool overall except for the batteries don't run the tool very long, while working.about 4 to 7 minutes, maybe under a load.
i think the tool designers were too conscious about the hazards of lithium batteries over heating.i have 10.8 volt lithium batts by makita that blow these batteries away.better luck next time rockwell-i am going back to makita.
This is the perfect 'touch up' tool to have at your side during all repairs and construction. Good power, fast cutting. I just wish it had quick blade change capabilities. Batteries seem good so far (2 weeks), but it does just stop if you attempt to cut too fast - then needs to be turned off and back on.
I was surprised to see how powerful, easy, and compact it was great tool
