I had this in our small 1 bath lake house that we used only in the summers. We have moved but liked this water heater so we are buying again. This heater is great if you understand how the water flow changes the end result.

we used hot water rather infrequent and the storage tank system would generate a foul odor from the sediment of sulpher that came out of suppension in the water. we now have water without the smell.

I installed a smaller unit to do my infloor heating in my livingroom. When my gas tankless heater went out in the upstairs bathroom I replaced it with a AE12 unit. It was easy to install and works great. The only hard part was running the electric wires to the main breaker panel.

Depending on your incoming water temperature, the AE115, may be suitable. If you are in the North, I would suggest the AE125.

The Ariston GL6-plus Point-of-Use Electric Mini-Tank Water Heater would be a good choice for the bathroom you described.

I have an upstairs bathroom that was used by our children who are now grown and out of the house. It has a double sink and shower. It is now seldom used except by visitors. Would this be a good fit for us. Our current tank style heater needs repair and we are strongly considering a tankless model. Thoughts and ideas would be very helpfull. Thanks!

That would not be an appropriate application for this water heater. It is suitable for a single sink, but will not work adequately for a double sink if used at the same time, and certainly not for a shower.

This product would be an acceptable, not great, fit for providing hot water to the double size, but is not suitable for providing hot water for a shower.
