Be sure to insert the worm gear in pinion are of table support before mounting on rack .
Although the table has no slots or holes, I found the K**g clamps will fit in the T-slots to work as hold-downs. The fence provided clamps well into place. L** V*ll*y T-slot clamp plates fit in the T-slots and will carry various clamps too.
Buy a 2MT "green weenie" to prep and maintain the chuck spindle taper hole. That helps ensure minimum runout....
machine works very well. definitely need two people to assemble head on shaft. Instruction manual neglects to inform you of need to insert worm gear before table placement
It is a very good all around drill press. The variable speed works great and for me is a must have. I like the laser guides and they are easy to adjust. The drill press has some well designed quick adjusters to control the depth of quill travel. The LED lights provide very good illumination. The most disappointing thing for me is that the quill travel isn't smooth, doesn't seem to travel through the range smoothly nor retract to the beginning position as sharply as it should. It is overpriced, even when on sale, but at the same time I'm not disappointed except for the way it flows through the six inch range of travel - just doesn't travel through the six inch range with ease and snap back as it should. There is an adjustment, I haven't tried it, suspect it would help some, but doubt that it would truly correct the issue.
I use this machine in my woodworking shop. I had an old Delta 18 in variable speed unit(massive!!!) that somebody loaned me while they had no place to use or store it. This is very close to that unit in power and the depth-stop is even better. It looks great too.
The only place it falls down in in the fence. It is ok, but adjustments are very analog and the hold-down in the slots limit adjustments. But it is included.
The unit is well made and runs great. Best to convert it to 230 volts. Only problem that I had was that the instruction manual was rather brief. It could have included more example and pictures. However a mechanically inclined person could figure it out. With the lasers, I can drill numerous holes in little or not time. I would buy this unit again.

Q:The web page for the 2800B drill press says only the ONYX version is 90 month warranty. But is the 2800B available in the ONYX edition? Thanks.
