Purchased the tiller and it only lasted 1.5 years. Problem with this tiller is the transmission housing is a one piece unit made of white metal. Right at the shaft connection is a weak point in the housing. Went to use the tiller and the whole tiller portion fell off the bottom of the unit. Can't just replace the housing as the transmission is a one piece unit. Repair shop looked at the gears and commented they were brand new, they were - less than 50 hrs total. Problem was, to replace the transmission was as much as a new tiller. So a piece of advice if you buy this tiller. It is a great economical tiller but MUST be baby'd when transporting or using. Heavy rocks in the soil or moving it by running it on the tines instead of tilting it and using the rear wheels will break the transmission housing at the tiller shaft. Repair shop told me this was a very common problem with this model.
