All powered hand tools need a case

Comments about Tradesman 1/2-in Corded Drill:
Drill itself meets my needs
Most important thing I can mention is if one values his / her tools is that all powered hand tools should come with some sort of protectant case of bag. The price for the item was reasonable but the product should have come w/ some sort of protective case or bag for storage and transportation. Personally I wlll not purchase another powered hand tool without some sort of case.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Good Value, small case crack

Comments about Tradesman 1/2-in Corded Drill:
I bought this to knead bread with: Bolt down the mixing bowl and go at the dough with a bent stainless rod. It can do up to 5 lbs of flour in one shot. The handle helps avoid arm strain.
Only has 1 speed range, max 800RPM. Fairly noisy. Minor crack in the case, but it doesn't seem to affect operation.

Comments about Porter-Cable Tradesman 1/2-in Corded Drill:
[...] It must be our location. It's a sharp looking tool with some heavy duty weight to it. This is not a lightweight plastic housing drill. There is a button which keeps the drill going so you don't have to squeeze the trigger the whole time. I love the adjustable 360 degree second handle. No tools needed to change the position. I also prefer a corded tool to those with a battery. I used to always run-out of battery or not have enough charge to complete a project. This thing will burn itself up if you over-face it, but you should be buying a SDS hammer drill if you have super heavy drilling to do. Still, with 7 volts, it's just less than the 8 volt SDS. We haven't had any problems with this drill, but we haven't owned it for more than a few months. So far, we are very happy and the value can't be beat!
