I bought this product for old doors repair work on residential site.
It has worked well so far and in fact better than I expected since I've never used a poter-cable brand planer before. A chip collection bag worked surprisingly well during operation (I usually ignore dust bags in general). It gives you an option of attaching a bag on left or right of the machine with closing off idle side completely. A depth adjustment is easy to use with each number point with a click. Overall it's a well designed tool.
