You can't beat the power to weight ratio of this saw, absolutely unmatched!!! And at the reconditioned price, NO BRAINER!!! Saw is a perfect fit for me, a saw is a personal tool though too so go to lowes and try them out but definitely come back to CPO to buy it though!! My only complaint is the saw in every picture I've seen and at lowes is gray, mine is a goldish color though, kinda weird but I really don't care, the saw doesn't realize it's gold, so I don't care either!!!

Circular saws are surprisingly personal tools and I like the feel of this saw better than DeWalt, Skil, Craftsman and Hitachi, all of which I used when I was framing houses.

Thsi is the first new porter cable saw I have purchased in 20 years, because the one I purchased back in 1989 lasted that long. Not happy about the depth control being moved to the back, or the vast amount of plastic. The saw seems powerful and ergonomic. I guess only time will tell if my post B&D PC saw is as good as the original.
