Mounts perfectly in my Woodpeckers SW420 Router Lift using SW350 motor pads (for 3.5 inch motor diameters). The length of the 892 motor allows the 1/2" collet to extend nicely above the table surface for easy bit changes.
I could not be happier with this purchase. This router looks and works just like NEW!

the micro adjustment is fantastic for setting height in a router table. It has sufficient power for some of my biggest bits in very hard wood (maple, cherry). the bearings are great. it spins very true

This seems to be a solid tool but when upsidedown in a table it's hard to adjust the height. I found that if I blow air to clean it often helps.

Bought it for its variable speed so I can spin stile and rail bits and vertical panel bits. Use upside down on a router table.
Find that the micro adjust is a little difficult to raise the router when upside down. Also dust keeps the router from coming out of the base easily. Seems like it may not be designed for upside down use.
Otherwise I like it a lot. Very powerful and the variable speed is nice. The easy lock and release once the height is set is a vast improvement over the older model.

This is a terrific all-around router. I bought a second one so I could leave one in my router table permanently and have the second for use with the plunge, D-handle and standard 2-handle bases. Originally I bought the kit with two bases. This is an example of the value of interchangeable system components. Ooops, does that make you think of another brand?
