I own a cabinet shop and we have enough that we don't change bits, we change routers. I have some as old as 20 years old and some as new as 2 years old. These are fantastic routers. I would recommend the variable speed router. Now that it is available.

I bought it for use overseas because the specs said 25-60Hz. It is 60Hz only. I called and complained. I was directed to the manufacturer and was told the tool is for 60Hz only.
It is still listed incorrectly along with several other Porter Cable tools.
