Having used other pocket systems I was always put off by the quality of the systems and the multiple step set up. This unit answered my concernes and over delivered in ways I didn't expect. A ease to use (read the instructions) and very satisfying heft for the money. I've only just cut a few practice holes, but I feel confident this will be a very welcome addition to my shop.

Unlike most other pocket hole jigs, this one does not require the user to remember to install a raiser block, or remove it depending upon the thickness of the wood being used. The Port Cable Jig automatically adjusted to the size of the wood for you. It also informs you to the length of screw to be used. It's fast, repeatable features make it short work of a cabinet or piece of furniture.
