Easy To Use
Works geat right out of the box.
I wanted a none electrical heater for my garage (2 car).
I settled on this new Mr Heater model because it was touted as one half as noisy as previous models. It is, in fact, less noisy.
The unit is light, simple to operate and certainly puts out the heat. At 38,000 BTU I can heat up my garage by 20 degrees in about 15 minutes. I now light the unit, look at the flame while I turn down the gas flow, so as to not use up too much propane.
As a safety measure I also purchased a Kidde carbon monoxide monitor. It is set to trigger at 30 ppm of CO, which is below the Federal danger limit of 50ppm. I ran the unit in my closed garage for 25 minutes. Drove the temperature up to the mid 80"s and the monitor didn't indicate any CO, or trigger the alarm.
I figure that I'll use it intermittently to keep the temperature comfortable.
