              Comments about Dual Temperature Heat Gun, 570 degrees F/1,000 degrees F:

              Had similar German made model for 5 years - almost everyday use for applying printed vinyl graphics. Took a beating - dropped one too many times and fan quit. New Romanian made model looks exactly the same. I'm guessing they are same tooling moved to Romania for labor saving. When I got the new one I took apart the old (easy) and discovered a piece of plastic tab had broken and lodged in fan - removed and old faithful is back in service. Even well dispersed heat with soft, quiet airflow perfect for us. Only neg. is cheap wire stand which will break and get lost - doesnt work well anyway so just rest on fan housing.

                  Comments about Dual Temperature Heat Gun, 570 degrees F/1,000 degrees F:

                  We use heat guns almost exclusively for heat shrink. Through trials of other brands, we have found that Milwaukee brand are the most dependable, heat up fastest and cause the least down time- saving us money. Sure, there are cheaper models out there, but these work best for us.

                  Comments about Dual Temperature Heat Gun, 570 degrees F/1,000 degrees F:

                  The Fan works properly, with a well-calibrated air flow, but sounds as if it came from a gumball machine! Tool light weight is a very nice feature. The bench stand is a good idea poorly executed. Overall, I am pleased with the tool functionality.

                  Questions & Answers

                  New Vs. Reconditioned

                  Factory-Reconditioned products have been returned to the manufacturer and are restored to like-new operating condition; they go through a rigorous testing and inspection process. Plus, they offer a significant savings vs. new.

                  • Reconditioned products may have minor cosmetic blemishes or scratches that do not affect item performance.
                  • Reconditioned products may not come with all of the consumables the new version comes with (bits, sanding pads/papers, cases, etc.).
                  • Both come with a manufacturer warranty and are covered by our Money Back Guarantee;
                    New is 30 days, Reconditioned is 60 days.
