      Comments about 12 in. Dual-Bevel Sliding Compound Miter Saw:

      I loved this saw but it would not cut prefect 45 angles. The blade is so bad I thought it was on backwards.I treid 2 of them 2nd saw was worse.
      I give CPO 5 star rating for doing a great job. And it was pain fully loud.

      Comments about Milwaukee 12 in. Dual-Bevel Sliding Compound Miter Saw:

      Great saw! havent had to adjust it in over 2 years of heavy but non daily use. LOVE!!! that fact that it can mitre to 60deg! no jigs needed! You can flip from a +50deg cut to -50 without worry that the other cut won't be accurate! This thing has multiple personaltiies...framing & finishing!

      Serious cons:Just noticed oil leak under arbor crank case!!!!! That should never happen!!!!Got a skil 13amp worm drive saw 21 years now, put through 10 times worse conditions and use, never changed the oil and no leaks! Should be life time warranty on crank case failure!!!

      Minor pet peaves:The dust collection manifold should have been made to fit bag and shop vac hose as one piece.Going from old craftsman to milwaukee pro saw without safety switch took some getting use to, had a couple of close calls. It could use a stop system for repetetive cuts. Accurate inch gradations on the fence would come in handy sometimes. slightly larger table that still maintained a 60 deg mitre would help in holding work pieces stable. All mitre saws need a paradigm shift in clamping work pieces particularly small pieces. Sometimes blade safety cover gets in way of extreme longer cross cuts and its not so easy to hold it up a little with right thumb and pull trigger at same time. It is heavier than old craftsman, but than whats the difference if your lifting 70 or 8olbs, still both heavy. Wheel could be bigger on bench for dragging up stairs.

        Comments about 12 in. Dual-Bevel Sliding Compound Miter Saw:

        I use this saw in my woodshop for finish work.

        Both mitre and bevel angles were set perfectly to 0 right out of the box, with no drift. The soft-start, integrated work lights, and digital micro adjust features are great. Setting up cuts is quick and easy. The dust chute and ejection design does an excellent job with dust control.

        The saw comes with a high quality, 60 tooth carbide blade, but I have not used it because my work requires 96 to 100 tooth carbide finish blades. Changing the blade was very fast and simple.

        This saw is solid, well built, and very high quality, and overall a great value.

          New Vs. Reconditioned

          Factory-Reconditioned products have been returned to the manufacturer and are restored to like-new operating condition; they go through a rigorous testing and inspection process. Plus, they offer a significant savings vs. new.

          • Reconditioned products may have minor cosmetic blemishes or scratches that do not affect item performance.
          • Reconditioned products may not come with all of the consumables the new version comes with (bits, sanding pads/papers, cases, etc.).
          • Both come with a manufacturer warranty and are covered by our Money Back Guarantee;
            New is 30 days, Reconditioned is 60 days.
