Milwaukee's 10 amp Sawzall Reciprocating Saw is the most durable reciprocating saw on the market, and at only 7 pounds, it offers the best power to weight ratio in its class. The saw offers a 0-2800 strokes per minute variable speed trigger with 3/4-in stroke length and a Quik-Lok blade clamp for fast, tool-less blade changes. The rubber boot provides superior gripping, and the adjustable shoe provides longer blade life and more cut control. The blades can even be clamped upside down for special cutting needs.

The Milwaukee Warranty Every MILWAUKEE power tool is tested before leaving the factory
and is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship.
MILWAUKEE will repair or replace (at MILWAUKEE's discretion), without
charge, any tool (including battery chargers) which examination proves
to be defective in material or workmanship from five (5) years after
the date of purchase. Return the tool and a copy of the purchase receipt
or other proof of purchase to a MILWAUKEE factory Service/Sales Support
Branch location or MILWAUKEE Authorized Service Station, freight prepaid
and insured. This warranty does not cover damage from repairs made or
attempted by other than MILWAUKEE authorized personnel, abuse, normal
wear and tear, lack of maintenance, or accidents.
The warranty period for V28, M12 and M18 Li-Ion Battery Packs is two (2) years from the date of purchase. XC M18 Battery packs carry a (5) year warranty. The warranty period for Ni-Cd Battery Packs, Flashlights, Radios, and Professional Hoists (lever, chain, and electric) is one (1) year from the date of purchase.
*The warranty period for Portable Generators is two (2) years from the date of purchase.

My 8-yr old Porter Cable Tiger Saw gave up the ghost after many years of good use. Considered repairing it, but not cost-effective to send it in to get fixed. I originally bought a Skil recip saw to replace it based on bargain price. The Skil seemed like a good powerful saw but the one they sent me would not hold a blade and I returned it. [...] Bought this reconditioned Sawzall instead for a GREAT price compared to Big Box stores.Plenty of power and lightweight. And it does have a good kick if you should inadvertently lift the saw faceplate off of the surface being cut - (whoops - shouldn't let that happen). It does seem to transfer vibration up through the user's arms a bit more than my old Porter Cable, but that saw cost about 3x the $80 I paid here. IMHO, unless you use this saw all day long, week after week, this saw is a better deal.Great quality build, good thick industrial-calibre cord and the famous red carrying case - now made out of durable plastic - won't rattle and dent like old metal Milwaukee cases - a real improvement. This saw is one of the best (I've used Porter Cables, Dewaults, Bosch and Makitas.) This is one of my new favorites. I expect this to last many years. Just a fabulous saw at a great price.

Saved some money by buying refurbished and so far so good on quality. It arrived quickly and seemed to be like new. Only complaint of the tool is that it tends to disturb materials around that which is being cut -- specifically when cutting plaster and lathe, it tends to cause damage "down stream". But overall a solid tool.

59 yr old woman, 5 ft 1 inch tall, 115 pounds. I had never picked up a recip saw in my life, but it was EASY to install the 9 inch pruning blade and start cutting. Used it to cut roots holding a 5.5 inch diameter tree stump. I felt I had better control using this compared to my electric chainsaw, and it cuts better too - like a hot knife through butter! No problems with vibration, seems well balanced and not heavy. Sweet!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
