        Comments about 2-1/4 Max HP BodyGrip Router:

        I use this router for simple round over applications to raised panel doors, it has great variable speed settings, but what i most enjoy is the palm style grip.I own two of these routers, one for my table mounted needs and one for free hand needs,The only thing i could possibly ask more of these routers is to have a 3 horsepower model.

                  I bought the router to use in my new router table. To do so, I had to remover the handles. Also, the above table height adjusting T wrench doesn't work on the KREG table. It require a hole too big which would weaken the table insert. Otherwise, it is a terrific router

                      No, Milwaukee does not currently make tables for any of their routers. There are many other companies though that do make tables to use.

                    I have read several reviews that state the switch on the Model MILN5616-20 has a problem with saw dust collecting in the on/off switch. Has this issue been addressed or is this still a problem. I am considering purchasing this router but I have concerns about this issue.

                      Some units have experienced problems with dust collecting in the switch, those units have been fixed under warranty. Unfortunately this has not been addressed..

                  New Vs. Reconditioned

                  Factory-Reconditioned products have been returned to the manufacturer and are restored to like-new operating condition; they go through a rigorous testing and inspection process. Plus, they offer a significant savings vs. new.

                  • Reconditioned products may have minor cosmetic blemishes or scratches that do not affect item performance.
                  • Reconditioned products may not come with all of the consumables the new version comes with (bits, sanding pads/papers, cases, etc.).
                  • Both come with a manufacturer warranty and are covered by our Money Back Guarantee;
                    New is 30 days, Reconditioned is 60 days.
