      Comments about 1/2 in. Single Speed Hammer Drill:

      Not very happy as the RPM is so fast can't use it on metal as it will burn up bits, also can't drive screws. Will only use it for cement & think if slower RPM bits would last longer. Had to put a half dozen screws in cement, + knew will need to use it from time to time.

      It is recondition, looks like new & caught it on sale with free shipping. So if I was to rent a small hammer drill twice it's pay for, do not use often but, yes it has paid for it's self.

      Just not very happy with the high RPM. Now I do love my 1/2" 850 RPM drill & use it all the time. And if this drill was slower {yes it is VS but just to fast} I would most likely use it also.

        Beats using a plain 1/2 inch drill with a carbide bit. A lot of muscle is relieved.

              Comments about 1/2 in. Single Speed Hammer Drill:

              Bought this mostly as a complement to my driver for big woodworking projects (beds,chairs,shelving, etc.). Plenty of power has it knocking out spade bit holes in an instant. The depth setting moves independently rather than being tied into the extra handle which was a huge selling point for me. But if you need your depth rod to be super rigid this tool may not be the one for you. Overall a super satisfying purchase.

              New Vs. Reconditioned

              Factory-Reconditioned products have been returned to the manufacturer and are restored to like-new operating condition; they go through a rigorous testing and inspection process. Plus, they offer a significant savings vs. new.

              • Reconditioned products may have minor cosmetic blemishes or scratches that do not affect item performance.
              • Reconditioned products may not come with all of the consumables the new version comes with (bits, sanding pads/papers, cases, etc.).
              • Both come with a manufacturer warranty and are covered by our Money Back Guarantee;
                New is 30 days, Reconditioned is 60 days.
