Keep Your Shop Clean
The dust collector works well enough however I don't understand why the blade guard that comes with the saw is not fitted with the dust port. I could see paying a little more for the saw and quite a bit less for the dust collector.

Required cutting to get it to fit
The kit was easy to install, but when I went to use the saw the blade hit the new blade cover and would not turn. I contacted CPO help and was told to contact Milwaukee for the issue. After talking with Milwaukee for an hour it was determined that I needed to talk with CPO since I didn't buy it directly from Milwaukee. After getting a return authorization, I found out that the kit was the only one offered. I needed the dust kit to keep the dust down in my sign shop so I looked at the two housings and discovered the new one was missing a notch for the motor assembly. I cut the notch in the new housing, installed it and it works fine. The issue is it is designed to work with the 486480 motor and mine is the 486486
