Q:I just purchased a Milwaukee impact driver/drill set with the 48-59-1812 charging station. The first battery pack I plugged in shows a back and forth green / red flashing light... I kept the battery charging for 2 hours (it is properly seated), but there is no change to the charging status (2 bars) and the light is still alternating between red/green. I removed the battery and seated the second battery, which after only a few minutes, showed me a constant green light and 4 bars (fully charged)...
A:That means the battery is too hot.
A:The back and forth green to red is telling you the battery you installed
A:constant red is normal charging. blinking could be hot battery or bad
