Comments about 29-Piece Shockwave Driver Bit Set:

Driver bits themselves work very well. Used them to crank in long screws and lag bolts, and they performed well. Can't comment on long-term use, but they aren't damaged after using it for a few days.

One complaint I have with this particular kit is the inside storage solution. The semi-clear container on the left side stores the bits loose, so organization is difficult. Also, the storage container is hard/annoying to open. Noticed today at a store a different method of organizing the bits where there's an insert in the case that the bits are inserted into. Note the exterior case is great and seems to be very rugged; I just would prefer a different method of storing the bits inside the storage case. Minor complaint though as the bits work well themselves.

      Why no 7/16 nutdriver?

Comments about 29-Piece Shockwave Driver Bit Set:

It baffles me why they made this kit with a 1/4 inch nut driver and a 1/4 inch screw tip shaft. The screw tip shaft functions as a 1/4 inch nut driver as well as a tip shaft. They could have easily included the 7/16 impact ready driver instead of the 1/4 inch. The magnet on the shaft is just as strong as the nut drivers so it's kind of a waste. Now I have to get the 7/16 separately. Also it would have been nice if they included a 1/4' or 3/8' impact ready square tip for socket attachments and a sleeve on the screw tip shaft also would have helped.

          • 29-Piece Shockwave Driver Bit Set

            Q:

How do you remove the bits from the extension? The bits seem to be stuck in the extension bit holder?

              A:

You can put the extension in a vise and remove with a pair of pliers. If you do not have a vise you can use two pair of pliers on the extension on one and pull the bit with the other.
