        Comments about M28 28V 3 Ah Lithium-Ion Battery:

The new M-28 batteries are measurably better than the V-28 batteries they replace. Better run times and (purportedly) longer life.
It seems that Milwaukee is moving away from the 28 volt tools in favor of the new 18 volt line, but some of the 28 volt tools have no direct 18 volt replacement yet. One great example is the 28 volt right-angle plumber's 1/2" drill. This thing is the functional equivalent of the corded classic drill. It works even better with the new M-18 batteries.

          Comments about M28 28V 3 Ah Lithium-Ion Battery:

We purchased this battery as a replacement for the original one that came with our drill - which had reached the point that it couldn't hold a charge. This one charges faster, but we haven't used it enough to judge how well it will hold a charge. (The drill is used on our sailboat, so gets light use.)
