Comments about 12V M12 XC Battery Pack:

I have several M-12 tools and intend on buying a couple more, so the added battery life was well worth the extra cost of buying another more powerful battery.

        • 12V M12 XC Battery Pack

          Q:

In specific, what are the actual Differences in Performance or Output, let us say something like the the Amp / Hr rating, between the M12 N LI XC and the M12 Red LI XC batteries?
Or is it more subtle like the amount of charges before the device fails?
          Perhaps the Rate of charge?
Or is it something along the lines of the Performance characteristics over the life of the Battery?
Thanks for your time, just would like to know. Paul

            A:

The new RedLithium batteries have a new cell chemistry vs the previous packs, so yes longer run time per charge and 50% more cycle life. Same amp hour rating as before, just better cells.

            A:

The "N" Version M12 XC Battery is a "NON-Red Lithium" Battery. These were the older style M12 Li-ion Batteries before Milwaukee went to the newer "Red Lithium Series".
