Good little battery, I have 8 of them, they all work very well, of course the harder you work with your tool. ie: using spade bits for larger holes, the shorter the run time.

I have been buying up the M12 product line and I am loving it. I am not use to this bit of buying just the tool with no battery and must say I don't like it. I bought several extra batteries as backup. They take a charge fast and last a long time. I have used them with the 1/4 impact driver and drill/driver, the flashlight, the detector. I am very please with this line of products and will continue buying them.

I bought this battery for the Milwaukee 12V Flashlight and the 12V 1/4in Drill. It gets daily use for drilling small holes in steel and aluminum, driving #10 and 1/4 in screws and in electronic assembly. The battery life is great compared to the 2.4V screwdrivers from various brands, INCLUDING Milwaukee ( I love the 2.4V screwdriver - I have five of them!!) This 12V system is MUCH better for my work.
While the 12V battery voltage is expected to perform better, this LI-ION approach truly delivers the power.
I can't speak highly enough of this item... NO it won't replace the 18V or 28V drills - but what it does it does VERY well. Recharge time is very respectable. Since this is a replacement battery, you may ask, is a spare battery necessary? I have found that one in the flashlight, one in the drill and one in the charger can work ALL DAY, inside dark equipment cabinets with power to spare. it will work longer than I can...
