This battery is strong enough to take a 4 1/4" hole saw through hardy backer on my hammer drill then put it on my sawszall and cut through multiple beams that are 2x12. I highly recommend the battery. Been an electrician for 30 years and milwaukee has NEVER left me in the field.

Nice battery and the charge indicator is a handy feature. Only minus is the price. All batteries are expensive though but it just seems like it is cheaper to buy a drill and get a battery with it.

I have the older line of 18 volt nicad tools and have been pleased with them. I did purchase an M18 combo kit, and it has not let me down yet.
As for the review that gave it a poor rating for not being compatible with older tools, I think that the purchaser is at fault for not checking for compatibility to make sure it would fit the tool. There are replacements for the older line of tools.
