The Milwaukee Warranty Every MILWAUKEE power tool is tested before leaving the factory
and is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship.
MILWAUKEE will repair or replace (at MILWAUKEE's discretion), without
charge, any tool (including battery chargers) which examination proves
to be defective in material or workmanship from five (5) years after
the date of purchase. Return the tool and a copy of the purchase receipt
or other proof of purchase to a MILWAUKEE factory Service/Sales Support
Branch location or MILWAUKEE Authorized Service Station, freight prepaid
and insured. This warranty does not cover damage from repairs made or
attempted by other than MILWAUKEE authorized personnel, abuse, normal
wear and tear, lack of maintenance, or accidents.
The warranty period for V28, M12 and M18 Li-Ion Battery Packs is two (2) years from the date of purchase. XC M18 Battery packs carry a (5) year warranty. The warranty period for Ni-Cd Battery Packs, Flashlights, Radios, and Professional Hoists (lever, chain, and electric) is one (1) year from the date of purchase.
*The warranty period for Portable Generators is two (2) years from the date of purchase.

I could go through the battery faster than it charged but you cannot expect much from a battery that size.
An excellent tool for the beginner or casual do-it-yourselfer but a professional will need power of a bigger battery.

Use primarily to drive screws. Great on nuts and bolts. I have found the impact driver does not srtip out screw heads as a drill driver does.

Now that I have it I'll never understand why it took me so long to purchase it. So nice to put screws into oak with only moderate down force and still not strip out the top of the screw. About the only thing I can think of changing would be a little more trigger control for low RPM speeds. Driving a screw with an impact driver and a variable speed drill are NOT the same thing. If you like your drill-driver just wait til you get your hands on one of these. LOVE IT.

The re-conditioned product arrived quickly in great condition, as good as new, with a much better price. This thing is amazing, so much more than my standard drill driver. Every article that I've read recently in trade maqazines indicated that this is the next "must have" tool. Now that I have one, I couldn't agree more. I do a lot of re-con and cabinet work, and appreciate its' abilities. I don't need the heaver 18v application. This 12v is great. Get one.
