Brand new out of the box the jacket had a hole in the right hand pocket.Other than that it's a great jacket.I bought another one for a Christmass present for my father.
This Milwaukee Heated Jacked is the Second Generation product that shows more options than the previous generation. It performs like a typical Milwaukee tool - flawlessly! Although the construction of the jacket appears to be pretty tough, I am not willing to chance damaging it in rough woods areas encountered in hunting. The jacket came with an M12 charger and battery, also proven performers. With this generation jacket, you can charge your cell phone in a dedicated zipper pocket(lacing channels are built in for device cables) through the onboard USB port, very handy in an emergency situation. You may also use a MP3 player. The battery dock has the push button Milwaukee fuel level panel that lets you know how much power you have remaining. Using the 2 heating zones and the USB port will drain the power quicker than just heating, so you may want to carry 2 batteries or upgrade to the XC battery. The 2 separate heating zones are the core body area and the pockets (each having 3 levels of heating) which can be used together or alone. The only caveat I offer is to upsize the jacket from the manufacturer's sizing chart. I ordered my jacket based on their chart, and found it to be uncomfortable. CPO promptly exchanged it through a simple and seamless procedure. Keep in mind that this jacket should be worn as the first layer over your regular shirt so that the heat is closest to your core. You can layer up on top of it to contain the heat even more, but I have not found that necessary yet in temps as low as 25 degrees. This jacket is a winner and sure makes a tired old aching back feel better longer.
