  • Laser Temp-Gun Thermometer

Could this also be used to locate cold spots indicating a lack of insulation or air leaks? Is there a better/more appropriate kind of temp gun for that usage?

To a certain degree, yes it could, but it would be a time consuming process compared to other options. A thermal imager would be a much more fast and accurate solution, but Milwaukee's version is quite expensive, though if it is like their other tools, quite dependable.

The chuck is what holds the bit. You must use a bit with a 1/4" chuck in order to use this drill.
