      Comments about Milwaukee Digital Multimeter:

I saw this product a few times at the local home depot (say a few because if my wife finds how many times I go there I am dead...), at first found it to be bulky but when I got mine, it fits right into my hand; the rubber boot protects from slidding on metal suraces, it gets readings pretty fast (good refresh rate) and for voltages bellow 10vdc displays an extra digit. I compared it to my fluke ad it is pretty much on the spot, ac and dc readings. The only down size is lack of micro amps (for electronics and HAVC). Continuity test is fast and not scratchy, capacitancy is also fast and within 0.02 from Fluke. Overall I am very happy with my meter. Good work.

        Comments about Digital Multimeter:

I use this unit in maintaining electronic components and some electrical gear. It has proved to be accurate, easy to use, and very well made. While it's not a "bargain" meter, it is still fairly affordable - and CPO's specials certainly help our! Highly recommend.

          Comments about Digital Multimeter:

This multimeter is made for the professional. Aside from the "standard" functions of a fully loaded TRMS multimeter. It also features some "perks" that few other, more expensive tools, have "all-in-one". It features a clear, soft backlight that can be turned on/off at the push of a button. Sometimes there's nowhere to set your meter down to read, while you hold the leads with both hands to your source, so it holds one (or both) from the back allowing you to hold the meter & lead #1 in one hand & lead #2 in the other, this feature also makes for neat storage. It has a flip up support on the back allowing the tool to stand upright for those times when you "have" to hold a lead in each hand. The body is solid and well protected with thick rubber molding that provides a great non-slip gripping surface. Other than a Fluke Meter, the warranty cannot be beaten, Milwaukee standard, 5 years. Overall, I would buy it again and definitely recommend this to a friend or relative.

The product works well. It was a gift for my husband and he was very happy with it. However, I was disappointed when I went to a major home improvement store the following weekend and saw it retailed for the same price I paid at CPO. I thought I was getting a deal, guess next time I should do my homework.

You will need to remove the DMM Stand, then the Battery Door then the Bottom Case. The fuse is located on the Main PCA. Here is a link to show you where the fuse is located: http://documents.milwaukeetool.com/54-07-2260.pdf
