              Comments about 1/2 in. Hole-Hawg Two-Speed Drill, 300/1,200 RPM:

              I've used this tool before, so I knew what I was getting. It takes a drill like this to put big holes in big wooden beams and posts.
              The thing that surprised me was the shipping. I've seen 5 year olds that could pack something better. Find a big box; throw the tool in the bottom: Fill up the rest of the box with packing and put it on a truck. The drill itself had no protection other than the thickness of the cardboard box because that's where it was when I opened the box. It would have been much better to use a smaller box and wrap tool in newspaper or something that didn't just sift to the top and leave the tool laying on the bottom
              Will have to compliment you on speed of delivery though.

              Bought this drill to install the Plumbing and Electrical for our new laundry room on the 2nd floor of our antique home. It cuts through 2 bys with a 3" hole saw like buttah! I'll own this drill for the rest of my life, I can't believe I waited so long to get one. After 20 holes, it has paid for itself in time alone.

                  They are the same item. The 1675-1 was the new item and the 1675-8 is reconditions. However, the 1675-1 has been replaced by the 1676-6.

              New Vs. Reconditioned

              Factory-Reconditioned products have been returned to the manufacturer and are restored to like-new operating condition; they go through a rigorous testing and inspection process. Plus, they offer a significant savings vs. new.

              • Reconditioned products may have minor cosmetic blemishes or scratches that do not affect item performance.
              • Reconditioned products may not come with all of the consumables the new version comes with (bits, sanding pads/papers, cases, etc.).
              • Both come with a manufacturer warranty and are covered by our Money Back Guarantee;
                New is 30 days, Reconditioned is 60 days.
