For drilling pocket holes
Great drill, can't go wrong with the 5 year warranty. No brainer here.
I use this drill for most of my work, unless I need the added power of my Milwaukee Heavy Duty Hammer drill.
This is a great tool and I couldn't be more happy with delivery and fast courteous service provide by CPO. Thanks Guys and Gals!!!!
I bought this to replace my old Craftsman 3/8" corded drill when the variable speed trigger failed after 30 years. I purchased this drill because it has a metal gearcase and draws 8 amps. The Milwaukee feels good to operate, has more torque than any other 3/8" drill I am aware of, has good speed control, and is easy to hold. I install a lot of lighting fixtures in metal and concrete, and this drill will do the job very nicely. Cordless drills are convenient, but nothing beats a good corded drill. Hoping for another 30 years. I do not notice the chuck wobble mentioned in other reviews on the tool itself, though the chuck housing is has a very slight eccentricity to it.

Q:How long is the cord & is it a 2 or 3. Wire? What is the total weight of the drill? How sensitive is the variable speed trigger?
A:The cord is 8 feet long. It weighs 4.25 lbs, but its shipping weight is 4.8 lbs. The speed trigger has a nice sensitivity.
