Very Happy With The Readio
Its a very nice radio which is typical with Makita Products. The Blue Tooth works great and the instructions were easy to follow. The product arrived on time and in good condition. I have ordered from CPO before and their customer service is very good and they answed questions about the product prior to the purchase.

job site radio
Very well built for a job site radio. Makita's style is small & good sound. The size does not displace equipment that you need for the job, but the sound is plenty. The side speakers are intended to project good sound 360 for wherever you are working on the job site. Instead of having to reposition for better sound. I do not feel that the sound quality is compromised at all.

Easy pick
Comments about the Sound being sided by the speaker orientation is erroneous. Good sound and reaches all parts of a room without having to move the radio every time you work in another side of the room. All listeners get a good sound.
So well put together - rubberized handle, roll bars, buttons solid, 4ah battery lasts forever.
The supplied wall chord should fit deliberately in the back battery cabinet

Wow second one, not worth the shipping and that was FREE!
Works reliably with 18v battery compared to using the auxiliary.Turning volume up or down switches between the right and left speakers and turns off the speakers too! Really not happy with the quality of this product. And I tried,I ordered a second one but I'm sending it back! I really like the Makita tools line overall just not this radio!

New Vs. Reconditioned

What's the difference between New and Factory-Reconditioned?

Factory-Reconditioned products have been returned to the manufacturer and are restored to like-new operating condition; they go through a rigorous testing and inspection process. Plus, they offer a significant savings vs. new.
  • Reconditioned products may have minor cosmetic blemishes or scratches that do not affect item performance.
  • Reconditioned products may not come with all of the consumables the new version comes with (bits, sanding pads/papers, cases, etc.).
  • Both come with a manufacturer warranty and are covered by our Money Back Guarantee; New is 30 days, Reconditioned is 60 days.
