    Great small powerful tool

Small size is an aid in precise use. Can do many things that no other power tool can do. In addition to the usual uses cutting nails for deconstruction and trimming in odd places, it is also possible to use this little saw like a power handsaw. With a fine tooth blade it can cut a 1x4 or 2x4 edgewise at an acute angle that can not be cut with a circular saw or even a miter saw. You can use it as a power handsaw. Being able to use it one handed is also an advantage at times.

I have to cut a lot of 4" schedule 40 pvc pipe in the field, and this does it. Light, but two hands are better than one. The battery life is short, but for most applications that should not be a problem. Carry several batteries and the short time won't be a problem. It's small enough to carry and store easily.

This is another, best of all, Makita power tools. I've owened several expensive tools of all brands. I am a professional and use extensively Makita power tools every day. Makita tools and the Bosch 12" sliding compound are the best although I have Makita Miter saws are they are fine.
The 12 V Sawzall: The safety button by the handle trigger takes two hands to operate. Impossible.
The other trigger with a lock out flip half-way up the body is OK.
