The Makita LXT Lithium-ion Warranty applies to both new and factory-reconditioned Makita tools. Every Makita ® 18V and 14.4V LXT Lithium-Ion Industrial Power Tool is thoroughly inspected and tested before leaving the factory. If you are not satisfied with Makita 18V and 14.4V LXT Lithium-Ion tool within 30 days of purchase, return it and Makita will provide a replacement or refund. Every Makita 18V and 14.4V LXT Lithium-Ion tool is warranted to be free of defects from workmanship and materials for the period of THREE YEARS from the date of original purchase. The Makita LXT Lithium-ion battery has a limited one-year warranty. works mint.only thing i noticed was the battery is slow when you first run it if the temp is 15F or lower

If there is a guy hard to impress it's me. These drills are simply the best there is. Batteries charge quickly and last. Tried them all thru the years in my carpentry bussiness. Dewalt, Ryobi, Skill, don't come close to Makita for performance and durability. If you want good battery drills these are the ones you want.

Great kit at a reasonable price. I just built a deck and used the impact driver for lagging and also about a million deck screws. This is a nice light driver that seems to be real durable. I can't speak much about the drill yet as I have not used it for more than drilling pilot holes.

These guys actually get abused , dropped from ladders, kicked over, thrown into buckets, left on the back of the truck and not returned to the case, tossed into wheel barrows, dropped from roofs, thrown onto roofs and even loaned to others. Not sure how they survive but they do!

For anyone who has the task of working with old houses and working with 'native timber' they know how difficult getting any type of fastener to go in without straining yourself into a stroke. This combo is the answer to you prayers. The impact driver will make the job a lot easier. The drill will let you bore through studs, joists, and with the added bonus of a hammer drill, any masonary job a lot easier. The power the tools have is a marvel. It's hard to believe they are not corded. The battery life is like nothing I have ever seen. Makita has this down pat.
