They still make great products
I still have my first cordless Makita from 1983 and still use it. I had a Makita impact driver from the 90's that got loaned to a friend who lost it. Needing to replace it, I looked to Makita again. This 3 in 1 tool is great. Drilling, Impact hammer, and torque control options make this a very versitile tool. It is well balanced a comfortable weight. Extensive drilling on the hammer setting will run through the battery, but it comes with 2 and recharge time is 15 minutes, so I'm never without power. You will love using this tool. Only gripe is the LED light location. The chuck casts a shadow right where the point of your drill bit is or screw. So close to perfection, but just missed it by 1/2 an inch.

As an aircraft mechanic, I think this is the most useful tool for removing all those panel screws in a fast efficient manner.
