Comments about 7-1/2 in. Four Pole Slide Compound Miter Saw:

It does everything my favorite 12 inch Makita dual slide does at half the weight! Large crown does have to be cut flat by the math, but this is a solid, powerful, truly portable, precision machine.

Comments about Factory Reconditioned Makita LS0714-R 7-1/2-in Four Pole Slide Compound Miter Saw:

I purchased a refurbished model and it arrived in new condition. It had obviously never been used to cut material. Two small issues, the top slide bars are "sticky" when moving the saw slowly (I've read about this issue from other experienced) but this is not a major issues for me and does not affect the kerf quality or function of the saw. The second was the extensions were not level with the table when installed. A vice and rubber mallet took care of that little issue. Overall an excellent machine and easy to store and move from job to job.
