The Makita LXT Lithium-ion Warranty applies to both new and factory-reconditioned Makita tools. Every Makita ® 18V and 14.4V LXT Lithium-Ion Industrial Power Tool is thoroughly inspected and tested before leaving the factory. If you are not satisfied with Makita 18V and 14.4V LXT Lithium-Ion tool within 30 days of purchase, return it and Makita will provide a replacement or refund. Every Makita 18V and 14.4V LXT Lithium-Ion tool is warranted to be free of defects from workmanship and materials for the period of THREE YEARS from the date of original purchase. The Makita LXT Lithium-ion battery has a limited one-year warranty. Best Drill /Driver combo I've ever used in the 25 years I've been building high end custom furniture. Great balance, very powerful. I would highly reccomend this for everywhere a drill/ driver combo could be used, work and home. This would make any professional or do it yourself person extremely happy.

I have owned many other cordless drills in the past. Having both a drill AND a driver makes life a lot easier. I love the balance and the guts that the driver has.... the quick recharge time is great.
The light illuminating the work is a FANTASTIC feature.
I bought the reconditioned tool to keep at my home.
I hope it lasts and performs like the new tool that I purchased a couple of years ago.

Lasting power... can use alsmost all day with continued use. I use the drill for drilling pilot holes and the driver set up for square drive or phillips screws depending on fastener I am using. The driver is powerful and small enough to get into tight places. I've used Makita products for a very long time and have never been let down by their performance in the field.

Makita Tools are great, reliable workhorses. We use dozens of them in our workplace, and have yet to be disappointed when picking them up. Quick charge batteries and "smart" charging stations make for a perfect power match. Lot's of other Makita tool options too to team up with your batteries. Extra capacity and / or additional batteries can be expensive. Combo kit purchases help reduce the price "sting" of batteries purchased alone. For the extremely few "under warranty" issues we've had... factory service and turn-a-round worked well
